What the Job Involves
As a Family Information and Advice Officer, you will conduct MASH enquiries in partnership with social workers and other professionals, ensuring timely and proportionate responses. You will offer advice and guidance on services and resources available for children and families, maintain accurate records, and contribute to management reporting. Working closely with internal and external partners, your role is crucial in delivering a coordinated multi-agency response that improves outcomes for children and families. You will also provide feedback to referrers and handle information in compliance with GDPR and relevant policies. This role does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities but includes assisting with coworker and student induction and training. Additionally, you will be expected to engage in regular supervision, training, and workshops to enhance practice and service delivery.
