Who You Are
We are looking for a candidate with some experience in preparing and cooking food. You should possess a Food Hygiene Certificate and be able to communicate at a reasonable level. Awareness of food cleanliness and storage procedures, including food rotation, is essential. You should be capable of completing simple forms and reading basic instructions in English, as this is necessary for filling in cleaning rotas and other daily records. A verified photo ID is required.
What the Job Involves
You will assist in the provision of the catering service, ensuring it meets the standards required by the authority. You will adhere to Health and Safety regulations and maintain high standards of personal hygiene. Pre-employment health screening is mandatory, and wearing personal protective equipment such as an overall and sensible shoes with non-slip soles is essential. Jewelry and nail polish are not permitted.
