We are looking for a full-time Education and Engagement Officer to work in the Waste and Recycling Service who can:

Key Skills and abilities

• Engagement with Castle Point Borough Council Residents with regards to waste and recycling
• To ensure customer satisfaction within the waste and recycling service
• To deliver Waste projects and drive improvements to the service
• To promote waste and recycling at schools, public areas and events
• Use of Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel and Power BI
• To work with Street Scene Colleagues and provide targeted engagement on issues with waste presentation or fly tipping
• To engage with managing agents to discuss waste related matters at their properties
• To work closely with the Waste Strategy, Promotions and Performance Officer.

Experience

Previous practical experience working within an Engagement/ Front line engagement role is essential. Any waste industry related experience is also desirable.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
