An experienced and proactive Housing Officer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in general needs housing management. You should hold an educational qualification, and preferably a professional qualification. You are adaptable and resilient, with excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of housing and anti-social behavior legislation. What the Job Involves
The role involves delivering an integrated housing service to tenants and leasehold customers, working closely with other teams, councillors, and Tenants & Residents Associations. Responsibilities include resident engagement, tenancy management, conducting estate inspections, and supporting vulnerable tenants. The job requires preparing legal notices, managing escalated tenancy issues, and representing the council in legal proceedings. You will be involved in developing estate improvement plans and ensuring that the Council fulfills its legal and contractual obligations.
