Who You Are

We are seeking a qualified, experienced social worker registered with Social Work England. You should have a solid background in working with Children Looked After (LAC) and be adept in court proceedings. As someone who thrives in a multi-agency setting, you are committed to delivering high-quality and relationship-based practices to achieve stability and positive outcomes for children.

What the job involves

In this role, you will join the dynamic Children Looked After team at Knowsley Council. You will manage a diverse caseload involving children under care proceedings and in the care system. Your key responsibilities will include care planning, permanence, and pathway planning, alongside preparing reports and attending court. Working collaboratively with legal services and partner agencies, you will engage in child-centered practices that aim for stability and positive outcomes.
