- You have experience in Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support assessments.
- You are discreet and understand the importance of confidentiality and GDPR compliance.

What the Job Involves
- Maintain and monitor the NEC software system for the Benefits Service, ensuring timely payment allocation and process integrity.
- Interact with internal and external stakeholders, including government departments, landlords, and auditors.
- Assist in implementing new software and updating existing systems, including thorough testing and documentation.
- Provide technical support and produce management reports using specialized software.
- Ensure correct operation and legislative compliance of software, conduct reconciliations, and monitor overpayments.
- Participate in and support IT system projects, providing management information and ensuring data safety and accuracy.
Skills
- Numeracy, accounting, and literacy skills
- Ability to apply complex legislation
- Process review and improvement capabilities
- Experience in software testing and IT system administration
- Project management skills and experience
- Tactful and customer-oriented approach
- Proficient in Windows-based office applications
- Knowledge of IRRV and Prince 2 methodologies is a plus
