What the job involves
This role involves performing assessments of risk and care needs for adults, managing a caseload of varying complexity, and working within a multi-disciplinary team. You will engage in partnership working, respond to referrals, and deliver comprehensive care plans. Additional responsibilities include statutory assessments, sensitive negotiations with service users and carers, and maintaining high-standard client records. Participation in joint working with various agencies, promoting equality and diversity, and contributing to professional development are also key aspects of this role. You will supervise unqualified staff or students and develop new services to meet user needs.
