You understand the Care Act 2014 and can apply its principles to support adults in promoting independent living and improving their quality of life. You are committed to working alongside individuals, families, and carers to manage diverse caseloads and support your team in delivering exemplary social care services.

What the Job Involves

In this role, you will undertake strength-based assessments for individuals with disabilities, recommending and organizing equipment and structural adaptations to meet their needs. You will provide demonstrations and training on the use of these adaptations, liaising with various stakeholders to deliver optimal services. Your responsibilities include managing Occupational Therapy Assistants, maintaining accurate records, and utilizing training opportunities for professional development. You will ensure that services are collaborative, customer-focused, and that they drive social value while managing resources efficiently.

Skills

  • Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and related legislation
