What the Job Involves

In the role of Transport Planning Technical Support Officer, you will:

• Deliver customer-focused technical and administrative support for the Transport Planning service
• Assess transport implications of minor planning applications, such as parking and road safety
• Evaluate proposals against transport planning policies and provide clear guidance to Planning Officers
• Collaborate with Transport Planning and Development Control/Planning Officers to achieve positive community outcomes
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of service developments and best practices
