What the Job Involves

As a Seasonal Gardener, you will contribute to the upkeep of the Borough's landscaped areas, working with both skilled and semi-skilled gardeners. The role includes tasks such as maintaining flower beds, shrub beds, hedges, and grass areas. You will regularly use mechanical equipment, such as mowers and strimmers, and perform manual labor duties, including bending, lifting, carrying, and weeding. You must also drive light goods vehicles to support the mobile landscaping service.

Skills

• Full, current U.K. manual driving license
• Experience with gardening and landscaping equipment
• Physical stamina for manual labor
• Teamwork and communication skills
• PA1/PA6 weed control license (advantageous)
