What the Job Involves
As a Conference Chair / Independent Reviewing Officer, you will chair statutory review meetings for looked after children, ensuring compliance with the IRO Handbook Regulations (2010). You will manage a caseload of children and ensure that all reviews and care plans prioritize the voice of the child. Your role involves challenging actions that do not meet desired outcomes, providing specialized professional support, conducting audits, and facilitating training. You will contribute to improving practice standards and ensure productive multi-agency collaboration for the welfare of children.
