A formal qualification or relevant experience in the Refugee/Third sector is essential.
What the Job Involves
As a Resettlement Caseworker, you will be responsible for carrying and managing a caseload of families. Your role involves providing intensive, holistic support, making practical arrangements for new arrivals, liaising with partner services, and ensuring families have access to necessary support structures. You will also prepare paperwork, manage casework records, and keep abreast of relevant legislation and policy changes. Engaging with various agencies, you will work on building and maintaining positive relationships to deliver integrated and responsive services. Additionally, professional development and administrative tasks form part of your regular duties.
