What the job involves
Your role involves providing integrated day care and early education as part of a multi-disciplinary team. You will contribute to and support the planning of a high-quality early years curriculum, tailor planning to each child’s needs and interests, and maintain their developmental records. You will promote a secure, stimulating environment, manage behavior in line with guidelines, assist with physical care, and lead planned interventions for children with additional needs. Additionally, you will support children in transitioning between environments, execute child protection procedures, organize outings, and assist with first aid and emergency care as necessary. Flexibility to work between the hours of 8am and 6pm is required.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage
- Ability to plan, assess, and track child development
- Proficiency in managing behavior and implementing interventions
- Experience in providing physical care and handling medical emergencies
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Sensitivity to child protection and safeguarding policies
