What the Job Involves
You will be responsible for purchasing, preparing, cooking, and serving balanced meals catering to diverse dietary needs. Your role includes supervising kitchen staff, maintaining hygiene standards, managing budgets, and contributing to menu planning. You are a key holder responsible for unlocking the nursery, ensuring kitchen equipment is functional, and addressing any issues. Regular meetings with the centre managers for planning, along with ensuring health and safety compliance, are integral aspects of the job. Your work environment requires physical endurance and awareness of potential hazards.
