Who You Are

You are an experienced professional who has worked extensively with children and families, either as part of a team or with partner agencies. You possess a deep understanding of child development and relevant legal frameworks. You have a strong commitment to equal opportunities and are capable of working flexibly and independently in challenging situations. A current driving license and access to a car is essential, although reasonable adjustments will be considered for disabilities.

What the Job Involves

Your role is to support children, young people, and families where a Child In Need Plan is in place. You will engage directly with children and their families, providing parenting support and empowering carers to meet their children's needs. This includes assessing and planning to ensure children’s safety, working collaboratively with other agencies, and potentially working outside normal office hours. You will adhere to safeguarding policies, maintain professional development, and promote equality and dignity in all interactions.
